Overview

Founded in 2009, Cloudflare is a web performance and security company that provides online services to protect and accelerate websites online. Cloudflare started as a simple application to find the source of email spam. From there, it grew into a service that protects websites from all manner of attacks, while simultaneously optimizing performance. Cloudflare was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 List, selected by the Wall Street Journal as the Most Innovative Internet Technology Company for two successive years, and named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.

Who is she?

Canadian-born entrepreneur Michelle Zatlyn is the co-founder and Head of User Experience of CloudFlare, a website security service and content delivery network. Before co-founding Cloudflare, Michelle held positions at Google and Toshiba and launched two successful startups.

Education

She holds a BS degree, with distinction, from McGill University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was awarded the Dubliner Prize for Entrepreneurship.
