Founded in 2012, Coffee Meets Bagel is a dating app for people who are looking for meaningful relationships. CMB raised a $12 million Series B in May of last year. Coffee Meets Bagel was created by three sisters: Arum, Dawoon, and Soo Kang. The app was launched in New York City on April 17, 2012.

Education

She completed her BSE in Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania—The Wharton School.

She obtained her MBA degree from Harvard Business School. After graduating from Harvard Business School, Arum was excited to start a business that leverages technology to bring something truly valuable to consumers. She was one of a handful of students from the HBS MBA class of 2011 to go on to start their own business.
